SentinelOne® , the AI Security leader, announced an expanded partnership with Lenovo that will bring SentinelOne’s AI security to Lenovo’s ThinkShield security portfolio. The expansion builds on Lenovo’s existing collaboration with SentinelOne for endpoint detection and response (EDR), by introducing visibility into and governance over AI agents and use on Lenovo ThinkShield endpoints through SentinelOne Prompt Security.
As AI moves from pilots into daily workflows, security teams are being asked to govern a growing set of AI tools, data flows, and autonomous agents. Organizations need visibility and control over how AI is used before they can adopt it at scale.
“Security leaders are being asked to enable AI across the business and answer for where company data goes,” said Melissa K. Smith, SVP, Global Strategic Partnerships and Initiatives at SentinelOne. “SentinelOne Prompt Security gives them visibility into the AI tools in use and control over how data is shared, protecting against data leakage, prompt injection, and AI misuse. Through Lenovo ThinkShield, we are bringing that control to more organizations as they adopt AI.”

“As AI shifts from assisting people to acting on their behalf, trust becomes even more of a priority,” said Nima Baiati, Vice President and General Manager, Commercial Software and Security Solutions, Lenovo. “Security teams need to know not only which AI tools are in use, but also how those tools interact with corporate data, devices and digital assets. SentinelOne Prompt Security adds another layer of trust into our ThinkShield ecosystem, providing the proactive AI governance and end-to-end security foundation organizations need to accelerate AI adoption safely, reduce risk, and maintain control.”
